“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” -1 John 3:1 Wow, so upon starting this blog, I’m not even sure where to begin. I feel like since the beginning of the internship there have been so many different experiences, lessons learned, moments that have left me speechless and confused, and moments that have left me completely lost in laughter.  This verse, however, seems to connect many of the different pathways of thought I’ve had over this past week.

It’s hard to believe that we’re already finished with our first week!  Time has flown by as we’ve been getting to know each other better as interns, planning for the rest of the summer, learning more about some of the issues we may be facing, and getting to know the area of church hill better.  I’m really looking forward to seeing the ways in which God is going to use the 12 of us interns as it is already apparent that we are pretty diverse in our ages, experiences, personalities and backgrounds.   As we become more comfortable with each other, I believe we’ll be able to pull from the unique gifts that each of us has been given.
