Ben Rybolt's Biography
I am a year long intern for CHAT and will be teaching physics and physical science at Church Hill Academy. I will also be doing after school tutoring and help out with the outdoors program. I grew up in Chattanooga Tennessee with my loving parents and three wonderful sisters. I love playing sports, soccer, tennis, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, swimming and running. I also love being outside, whether that means cliff jumping and rope swinging, whitewater kayaking, or just listening to the crickets chirp while watching the sunset; I enjoy it all.
In 2005 I started classes at the University of Richmond. It was while there that I heard about the work CHAT was doing and volunteered with the afterschool program. When I graduated in 2009 with a major in Physics and a minor in Mathematics I knew I wanted to try my hand at teaching. Church Hill Academy facilitated this passion to teach while CHAT provided me with a place to pursue living in an intentional community committed to serving their neighbors.
